to my neighbour

Yesterday I received from my neighbour a card. It was a nice Christmas card in a small envelope on which was written "To: My Neighbour". I thought it was a really nice gesture, surelly unexpected. I was surprised when she gave it to me thinking not many people still do these kind of things these days, one good example is that she was the only one out of the 6 flat neighbours that I live with in the same house.
My nice neighbour took advantage of the blank space in the card to write her own Christmas greeting and extend an invitation to go with her to her church. She wrote her email adress, phone number and flat number as we all live in the same building. I have always thought that very religious people feel empowered thus try to interfere into other people's lives and tell them what to do just because they... have read many books about god and can tell the difference between right and wrong when to me they are actually robots repeating what they have read. This actually gives meaning to these kind of people and also gives them false authority. Just like I had some group of people similar to Jehovah's witness coming to my house. At that time I was living in the same with other five people, each with their own room sharing the rest like kitchen and bathroom. One of them let the group in, I think overwhelmed by their insistence. As I was saying, they started preaching. They said that Jesus has come for the secong time on Earth, that he has come to save us and that we must act according to their specifications if we want to be by Jesus's side.
How can anyone have the guts to say something like that? It is very easy to say things to people if they cannot question what is being said. Why should we listen to others telling us how to live when our lives are so short? If we think only about tomorrow then we cannot enjoy today and this way we are just wasting our time on Earth. Why there must be a "god" that controls everything that we do? If "God" makes the decision for us and "it was al mean to be" then we are just like some puppets who have no meaning and we are not guilty for any of the things that we do. We are not guilty if thoughts are put in our minds. If "God" had planned our lives from the beginning of time than he is a very cruel being. But I refuse to believe in the exitence of "god" or at lest, such a "god". As I was talking to an atheist friend a long time ago about "God" I just said the thought that came into my mind: "We believe in God so we can have someone to blame for all our mistakes and acredit the things that we do not understand yet". I am pretty sure that I am not the only one that has come up with this concept.
So I chose to just belief in myself and that I make my own future which can be changed at any time because we are always faced with the "fork in the road". Any small decicision that you make might lead to something big. Instead of thinking of what is to come after death just enjoy your life. We do not know why we exist and we live trying to figure that out. So some things are better left a mystery.

It has been some time since I have started being interested in the Japanese culture promoted through the media like manga, animes and drama series. Last night I was looking for something new and interesting to watch so I was looking at different clips to see which one might suit my taste. After reading the plot and looked a bit at the actors background I decided I should a try to the Korean movie based on a manga called “A wolf’s attraction”. I was kind of bored so I didn’t expect much from it but after a few seconds of watching the sound got my attention. At first it was almost no sound at all, then diegetic sounds with the volume increasing and afterwars, non diegetic sounds, the music which the producers had used to emphasize certaing things and send a message really got to me. It made me really excited and kept watching hoping there would be more similar scenes and there were. Those things to me really made the film worth watching.

so close and yet so far

In the memory of the words that are on the tip of our tongues in the most critical moments of our lives when we needs to speak up and assert ourselves, of the places that we often passed by in a different mean of transport, only being able to see but not to explore, the people that we would have liked so much to engage in a conversation but didn't have the courage to or just those occasions where we had to take a risk and do something a bit out of the ordinary for us but which could have also changed our lives, even if just a little.
May we learn from mistakes and regrets and not let it happen again. Even I'll try to act more on impuls. CARPE DIEM!!

I know it's a bit of a paradox but if you put some thought into it, you come to the conclusion of it being true. The reason for it is that since the world started to exist, it kept on changing, on transforming, on adapting, on evolving. It's one of the few things that we can be sure about in this world.
That's why we should take risks for every chance we get, not ponder too much because in most of the cases we arrive at the same conclusion that we had in the first instance. It's like "now or never" as what the future holds is unknown. Life should be about experimenting, exploring and finding new ways of enjoying ourselves. Of course not everybody has the courage to do so therefore we see many people doing the same thing that others did before just because they know it is safe and they do not have to face a possible outcome of their actions, unkown to them where they would not know what to do. These days they are called robot people because they are very similar to a robot, everyday is a routine and do not question what they are told or do anything out of the ordinary. Most people who are categorised like this are the corporatists, working in a cubicle, doing a work where they do not have to invest any feelings in; but there are also the housewives, factory workers and even the retired people just when they have more spare time that anytime they choose to live on memories when they could try to accomplish what they couldn't when they were young, what better time do it if not before you die.
On the other hand if there wouldn't have been anyone to chase their wild dreams then we wouldn't be at this point in humankind, living like this. We wouldn't be aware of art, the other continent and the shape of the planet, the extent of the solar system, the breakthrough in sciences, other civilizations let alone, two of the biggest discoveries in history: fire and the wheel. It is all thanks to the abilities that human kind is the only one known to poses, so far: imagination, conciousness.
So, next time you think og something and consider it to be outrageous or impossible, thing again!

aberrations

My manner of getting iniated in this vast and varied area of interest which has gotten the attention of many as hereby I am a part of. As well as a way of talking to myself but at the same time with the rest of the world without having any constraint ( limited by the common-sens, which ever it may be these days, because like the rest of the things, throught the history it had to change and adapt to be according to our contemporary days).

First step

Like the saying goes, "the first step is always the hardest" I expect this to be the same because I am still not sure how I should begin writing or better said, what I should be writing but I hope that eventually, in due time, I shall discover it, perhaps me without being aware like it often happens, when you do somethings for so long you are not conscious of your evolution.
